This classy lounge tucked inside the newly renovated Fairfax Hotel features a list of D.C.-themed cocktails (read: Rickey on the Row and The Lady From Georgetown) crafted by a Las Vegas-based director of concept restaurants. The modern bar has already seen lots of action between locals and hotel guests: On a recent weekend, a visiting wedding party recent killed an entire bottle of pricey 12-year Pappy Van Winkle. Meanwhile, executive chef Ricardo Planas’ expanding list of American small plates stars cheese and meats from Liberty Delight Farms in Baltimore County and produce plucked from Dupont Circle Farmers Market.
